Spotify

     When you scroll and scroll through Instagram stories or Facebook stories have you noticed those ads in between each story. I've seen ads from hotels, colleges, and even Spotify. Spotify does a good job of making themselves known to the public. Their brand is about being able to listen to music whenever and giving people to express their work so the world can view it.

     Spotify is a well-known music and podcast service. People also post their own work on there for others to see. They launched in 2008 and gradually became very popular.

     I feel that their advertising on a Social media app gets their word out better and shows how accessible it is by just clicking the link to the app store. By being accessible through social media, you can ensure millions of people can access your work.

    As someone who uses Spotify, I have seen people online make memes about Spotify Wrapped. Spotify Wrapped is your own playlist or wrap-up that Spotify makes for you once a year on what you have listened to from music, podcasts, albums, and artists that were most popular to you. Everyone who has the app looks forward to that. This year I saw a lot of memes and TikTok about people's Spotify wrapped.

      In 2020, 90 million were so obsessed with the idea of Spotify. Wrapped. It increased downloads to Spotify by 21% in the first week of December which is when the Wrapped comes out. All from the memes and people sharing their responses.
